Romania, more precisely Pitesti, hosted the 2021 ICF Canoe Marathon World Championships which attracted many competitios who fought for the World titles for the first time after 2019. Hungary again won the majority of the medals. Vanda Kiszli became World Champion both in short distance race as well as in 25.9 kilometres long marathon.

ECA Junior Slalom Cup overall wins to Slovakia, Italy and Slovenia

Twelve races in six venues were organised in the 2021 ECA Junior Canoe Slalom European Cup series. Young paddlers from Slovakia, Italy and Slovenia were the winners of the overall standings in four events and two age groups.
