One of the races in the 2024 ECA Open Canoe Slalom European Cup series will be held in Ljubljana - Tacen, the venue of this year's ECA Canoe Slalom European Championships. The ICF Canoe Slalom World Ranking race which will count for the ECA Open Canoe Slalom European Cup will be held on 20th and 21st April 2024.

Team GB has officially announced the athletes who will compete in canoe slalom and kayak cross at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. 2016 Olympic Champion Joe Clarke MBE and 2020 Tokyo silver medallist Mallory Franklin will be competing in Paris as well as 2023 World Champion Kimberley Woods and 2018 European Championships silver medallist Adam Burgess.
