Ivrea hosted the sixth race in this year's ECA Open Canoe Slalom European Cup series. The victories were celebrated by Italian and French representatives Stefanie Horn, Giovanni de Gennaro, Marjorie Delassus, and Jules Bernardet.

The venue hosted the 2021 ECA Canoe Slalom European Championships and will be a home of the senior European Championships again next year. Today's race will count both as the ECA European Cup event and ICF World Ranking race.
