The reigning K1M European Champion Peter Kauzer (SLO) reached the top position once again this season. At the traditional canoe slalom world cup race in Augsburg he produced the best run of all kayakers in the final to finish the race ahead of Jiri Prskavec (CZE) and Hannes Aigner (GER). Sideris Tasiadis (GER) recorded his second world cup win of the season in front of his home crowd and Jasmin Schornberg – Thomas Becker won another gold medal for Germany in C2 mix.

An exciting four days of racing at the 2018 ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships in Metković, Croatia, concluded with men’s C2, women’s K2 and men’s K2 events. Vanda Kiszli – Sara Mihalik, Diego Romero – Oscar Grana and Adrian Boros – Laszlo Solti are the last recipients of gold medals at this European Championships.

The penultimate competition day of the 2018 ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships in Metković, Croatia, brought senior K1 and C1 events in women’s and men’s categories. Liudmyla Babak from Ukraine is the new C1 women European Champion, Antonio Manuel Campos was the fastest in men’s C1 race, Renata Csay won in women’s K1 race and Jose Ramalho in men’s K1 event.

Second competition day of the 2018 ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships brought the new European Champions in K2W, K2M and C2M junior events and C1M U23 and K1M U23 events. Hungary, Poland, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Great Britain, Denmark and France were among the medallists today.
