The 2018 ECA Junior and U23 Wildwater Canoeing European Championships in Skopje, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, continued with team classic races. It was again Czech Republic that topped the medals table, having won four gold, two silver and one bronze medal on the second day of the European Championships.

The 2018 ECA Junior and U23 Wildwater Canoeing European Championships kicked off with individual classic races and it was all about the team from Czech Republic. Eleven sets of medals were awarded today and Czech Republic claimed five titles on the opening day of the European Championships in Skopje, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. France won two gold medals, while Slovenia, Germany, Italy and Ireland each won one gold medal.

The canoe slalom venue in Krakow which hosted many international events of the highest level, including Senior, Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom European Championships, Junior and U23 World Championships and World Cup events, this weekend welcomed future stars of canoeing. Young canoe slalom paddlers competed in the penultimate event of this year’s ECA Junior Canoe Slalom Cup.
