Fifth and last canoe slalom World Cup race of the year 2019 was organised in Prague on Vltava River which last year hosted 2018 ECA Canoe Slalom European Championships. Czech kayakers were once more unbeatable in men’s kayak, Jiri Prskavec took gold and Vit Prindis silver medal. Matej Benus (SVK) was the best in MC1.

The 2019 ECA Canoe Polo European Championships in Coimbra has just finished, but there is no rest for canoe polo players. Italian city of Catania will host the 2019 ECA Clubs Canoe Polo European Championships this month.

Markkleeberg and the course which hosted the 2015 ECA Canoe Slalom European Championships now welcomed best world’s slalomists at the fourth canoe slalom world cup race of the season 2019, the first one after the break. Eighteen medals were awarded to the best in canoe slalom and extreme slalom events and 12 of them went to the hand of European representatives.

President of European Canoe Association (ECA) Albert Woods OBE and ECA Secretary General Branko Lovrić met with EOC Sports Director Peter Brull during the 2019 ECA Canoe Polo European Championships in Coimbra, Portugal. They have discussed the upcoming 2023 European Games in Krakow, Poland, and sports programme of the European Games.
