Huningue, a commune in the Haut-Rhin department of France and a northern suburb of the Swiss city of Basel, which also borders Germany, hosted the ICF World Ranking race which also counted for the 2024 ECA Open Canoe Slalom European Cup series. Two wins of the weekend went to Germany, one to Czechia and one to the host organisers – Switzerland.

The first ECA European Championships in the season 2024 is approaching fast. The 2024 ECA Ocean Racing European Championships will be held in Azores, with opening ceremony scheduled for 11th April and race’s window between 12th and 14th April.
