Bulletin - 2021 ECA Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe European Championships 9.2.2021

The 2021 ECA Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe European Championships will take place at one of the most recognised and popular canoe sprint venues in the world. Duisburg will host the Championships between 3rd and 6th June 2021.


Duisburg is one of the most regular venues for major canoe sprint events and it hosted numerous World Cup races as well as five editions of World Championships, however this will be the first European Championships under the auspices of the European Canoe Association organised here. Athletes fought for the European medals in Duisburg in 1936, 1959 and 1967, but those championships were not ECA events.
