Jean Zoungrana, a candidate of the French Canoe Federation, has been elected the new president of the European Canoe Association at the 16^th Ordinary Congress, held in Crete. Albert Woods OBE whose mandate ended after 30 years has been named Honorary Life President of the European Canoe Association.

The second race in the Pyrenees Cup series and also the second race of the year 2023 that will count in the 2023 ECA Open Canoe Slalom European Cup series is scheduled for this Saturday and Sunday in La Seu d’Urgell, Spain.

The 16^th Ordinary Congress of the European Canoe Association will be held this Saturday, 25^th March 2023, in Chania, Greece. The delegates will be voting for the elective positions of the ECA president, one vice-president, three Board members and ECA auditor during the one day congress in Crete.
