The 2025 ECA Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe European Championships has officially begun with the opening ceremony in Racice (CZE). From Thursday to Sunday, Europe’s top paddlers will compete for the European Champion titles, but they also have another important task ahead. During the championships, participating athletes will vote for their representative on the newly established ECA Athletes' Committee.

A new week brings fresh challenges for European canoe and kayak paddlers. This time, the spotlight is on the sprint canoeists and paracanoeists, who are heading to the 2025 ECA Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe European Championships. The competition will take place in Racice, Czechia.

The 2025 ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships has concluded with great success in Ponte de Lima, Portugal — and with that, a new chapter in the presentation of canoeing to the world.
