Tula and Dolle in the lead of the remaining Canoe Freestyle preliminaries 17.8.2018

The remaining two preliminaries - women's K1 and men's junior K1 - have been held at the 2018 ECA Canoe Freestyle European Championships in Bratislava. Ten competitors in each event have advanced to the next round of the competition with Zofia Tula winning women's K1 preliminaries and Tom Dolle being the best in men's junior K1 preliminary round. 


French junior paddler Tom Dolle showed excellent skills in K1 preliminaries. His tricks have earned him a total of 2010.00 points after the preliminaries. Harry Price from Great Britain finished the competition day in the second position with 1523,33 points and Valentin Parasme from France was third with a total of 1293,33 points. 
 
Seven paddlers more have advanced to the next round: Roman Glasman from Germany, Jan Muntada Vinolas from Spain, Michel Hermann from Germany, Alex Ludlow from Great Britain, Matthew Stephenson from Great Britain, Wassel Kanatri from Belgium and Hugo Wredendal from Sweden. 
 
Polish canoe freestyle favourite Zofia Tula had the best day in women's K1 preliminaries. She finished the day with a total of 1220,00 points. Nina Csonkova, a local from Bratislava, was second with 1003,33 points and Marlene Devillez from France rounded the top three with a total of 980,00 points. 
 
Islay Crosbie (GBR), Eva Lasko (SVK), Lowri Davies (GBR), Anne Huebner (GER), Emma Witheford (GBR), Nuria Fontane I Maso (ESP) and Agata Sobieraj Jakubiec (POL) will also take part in the next competition round. 
 
Saturday's programme will bring semifinals in men's K1 junior event, women's K1 and men's K1.
