The 2025 ECA Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint European Championships Begins in Romania 2.7.2025

This year’s 2025 ECA Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint European Championships will take place between Thursday and Sunday in Romania, more precisely at the canoeing venue in Pitesti – Bascov. Athletes from 33 European countries will be competing over four competition days. The Opening Ceremony was held on Wednesday.


Following the senior athletes who recently fought for European titles in Racice, Czechia, it is now time for the juniors and U23 competitors to take the stage. Over the course of four competition days, nearly 200 races will be held. The best in Europe will battle for titles in Pitesti, Romania, and all the races will be available to watch live on the Canoe Europe YouTube channel.
 
Thursday will be dedicated to heats, while Friday will feature semifinals along with the remaining heats. The first sets of medals will be awarded on Saturday, and the final races for medals will take place on Sunday. Several athletes who impressed just ten days ago in Racice will also be on the start line.
