The 2019 ECA Junior Canoe Slalom Cup series will start in Krakow

The 2019 ECA Junior Canoe Slalom Cup series will start in Krakow 11.1.2019

The ECA Junior Canoe Slalom Cup race series has been around now for several seasons and it attracts many young participants from European countries as well as some paddlers from other continents. This year the race series will kick off early in June in Krakow.

The first race of the season will be organised at a traditional canoe slalom venue in Krakow, Poland, on 8th and 9th June 2019. This might be a good test for all young competitors as Krakow will host this year’s Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom World Championships in July.

From Krakow the series will move to Italy, more precisely to Valstagna, with race being held on 15th and 16th June. One weekend after Valstagna, the third location of the race series will be Solkan, Slovenia, another traditional venue for Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom races, with two races on 22nd and 23rd June. Flattach, Austria, will organise two races on 25th and 26th June, while the last races in the first part of the series will be in Augsburg, Germany, on 29th and 30th June 2019.

After the break for Junior and U23 European and World Championships the series will resume on 3rd and 4th August in Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic. The last location will be Bratislava, Slovakia, with the final two races on 10th and 11th August 2019.
