Inna Osypenko-Radomska returns to Ukraine 22.2.2018

According to the reports of Azeri Sport multiple Olympic medallist, World and European Championships medallist, Inna Osypenko-Radomska is returning to Ukraine. 35-year-old canoe sprinter competed for Ukraine until she switched to Azerbaijan in 2014. Media in Azerbaijan now reports she expressed a wish to return to Ukraine and has already received a green light to do so.


 “I was told by the International Federation that I completed my performances for the national team of Azerbaijan. I returned to Ukraine and I want to represent our country in the international arena. I have already been given the permission that I have the right to do this,” said Osypenko-Radomska.
 
Inna Osypenko-Radomska won bronze medal at 2016 Rio Olympic games in women’s K1 200 metres event for Azerbaijan. Under the flag of Ukraine her medal count is more impressive. In K1W 500 metres event she was Olympic Champion in 2008 and World Champion in 2010. In 2012 she won two silver (K1W 500m and 200m) medals at London Olympic Games, and was third in K4 500 metres event at 2004 Olympics. She has two silver medals from World Championships, silver medal from European Championships and three bronze medals from World Championships.
