Earlier this year, Spanish organisers in Salt - Girona who were given the organisation of the 2024 ECA Canoe Freestyle European Championships had to withdraw from the organisation due to objective reasons. There is now a new venue that will host the top European Canoe Freestylers.

The organisation of the 2024 ECA Canoe Freestyle European Championships has now been entrusted to Austrian organisers. The Canoe Club Graz has applied to host the Championships of the old continent at the Mugl Wave in Graz. The 2024 ECA Canoe Freestyle European Championships is scheduled from 26^th to 31^st August 2024.
