The 2025 ECA Canoe Polo European Championships was initially awarded to Kalisz, Poland, however the organisers withdrew from the organisation six months before the scheduled championships. After thoughtful consideration, the ECA Board of Directors has accepted the bid of the French Canoe Federation and the city of Avranches to organise this year’s ECA Canoe Polo European Championships.

 

The European Championships will be held in September, more precisely between 8^th and 14^th, and it will be the second ECA canoe polo tournament of the year held on this venue. Namely, Avranches will also host the second ECA Canoe Polo European Cup tournament of the year 2025 this month, on 21^st and 22^nd June.
