A total of nine events will feature on the 2025 schedule, offering a mix of challenging and traditional locations. The series will open on 15 March in Fulda, Germany, marking an early start to the competitive season. Just a few weeks later, athletes will head south for the second stage in Veles, North Macedonia, on 6 April.
April will continue to deliver top-level racing with an exciting weekend on 19–20 April in Špindlerův Mlýn, Czechia, followed by Augsburg, Germany, on 3–4 May — a venue steeped in paddling history. One week later, the series will return to Czechia for České Budějovice (10–11 May), before moving to Diekirch, on the border of Luxembourg and Germany, on 17 May, where paddlers will once again test their speed and precision.
As the summer unfolds, the series will make its way to Holme Pierrepont in Nottingham, Great Britain, on 14 June, offering British fans a chance to witness top European wildwater athletes in action on home waters. After a summer pause, the competition will resume with Lipno, Czechia, on 23–24 August, before wrapping up the season in style on the River Dee in Llangollen, Great Britain, on 22 November.
With a variety of venues ranging from natural river courses to historic artificial channels, the 2025 ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup will challenge athletes’ versatility and consistency throughout the season. Fans can look forward to a highly competitive series, showcasing both emerging talents and seasoned champions of European wildwater sprint canoeing.
