Croatian city Slavonski Brod will turn into European canoe marathon capital this July and the best paddlers are expected to come to the Sava River to fight for the European Championships medals. The championships of the Old Continent returns to Croatia five years after this country successfully hosted the 2018 ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships in Metković.

 

The competition programme consists of the short 3,4 km races in men’s and women’s kayak (senior and junior) and in men’s and women’s canoe (senior). The traditional marathon with longs laps and portages will be contested in junior, U23 and senior age groups.

 

The European Championships races are scheduled between 13^th and 16^th July.

 

Before the championships kicks off, the ECA Masters Cup will be held in Slavonski Brod, on 10^th and 11^th July.
