Bulletin – 2019 ECA Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom European Championships 4.3.2019

After three years Canoe Slalom European Championships is heading back to Liptovsky Mikulaš, Slovakia. In 2016 senior European Championships was held for the second time on this whitewater course, and in July the whitewater stadium will host the 2019 ECA Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom European Championships (3 - 7 July 2019).


The best European Junior and U23 paddlers have fought for the medals at European Championships in Liptovsky Mikulaš already in 2009 and for the second year in a row Slovak Canoeing has been given organisation of European Championships in Junior and U23 categories. Last year Bratislava hosted this sporting event.
 
2019 ECA Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom European Championships will kick off on Wednesday, 3rd July, with opening ceremony. On Thursday and Friday competitors will paddle in heats. On Friday first medallists will be known, as team races are scheduled for afternoon part of the programme. On Saturday and Sunday semifinals and finals in individual events will be organised.
