The competition will take place at the Olympic Racing Course “Krylatskoe”, a well known venue in canoeing community. The same venue already hosted several European and World Championships. In 2016 it was a host of the ECA Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe European Championships and Dragon Boat World Championships.  In 2009 and 2010 Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint paddlers fought here for the medals at World and European Championships, while in 2012 Canoe Sprint World Cup race was held in Moscow. In 2014 Moscow was a venue of the Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Championships.

 

The 2019 ECA Boat Nations and Clubs European Championships will start on Wednesday, 17^th July, with an opening ceremony, and in the following four days the competitions are scheduled. National events will be held in 200, 500 and 2000 metres distances for seniors in 10-seaters and 20-seaters (men, women, mixed) and juniors will compete in 10-seaters in 200 and 500 metres events (men, women, mixed).

 

Club races will bring senior and master 40+ events in 10-seaters in 200, 500 and 2000 meters distances and 10-seater races for juniors and master 50+ in 200 and 500 metres events, while 20-seater crews will be able to compete in senior and masters 40+ categories in 200 and 500 metres events.

 

Masters European Cup has scheduled races 10-seater events for 40+ and 50+ age groups in all three distances, while 20-seater event will only be held in 40+ age group in 200, 500 and 2000 metres events.

 

However, these are the races that are included in the competition programme, but will only be held if there will be five or more national teams from five different countries or more than five clubs will be entered in the event.
