Friday’s programme at the 2025 ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships in Ponte de Lima, Portugal, brought great triumphs for Hungary and Denmark, while the Spanish anthem also played in honour of the winners.

At the 2025 ECA Wildwater Canoeing European Championships, athletes competed in the Wildwater Sprint heats. The favourites and title holders demonstrated strong form and progressed to the next stage of the competition.

The second day of competition at the 2025 ECA Wildwater Canoeing European Championships featured team events in wildwater sprint canoeing and classic races. The Slovenian men's team dominated the kayak events, while the Czech women's team came out on top in the women's kayak events.
