New date of the 2019 ECA Canoe Polo European Championships announced

Portuguese Canoe Federation and European Canoe Association have reached an agreement on a new date for the 2019 ECA Canoe Polo European Championships which will be held in Coimbra. The Championships will be held in the week from 26 August to 1 September 2019.

Nottingham was in the spotlight of canoe polo fans this weekend. Great Britain hosted the 2018 ECA Canoe Polo European Club Championships and hosting nation had a lot to celebrate on Sunday after the medal matches were concluded. Liverpool based Friends of Allonby (FOA) picked up two medals, both in men's and women's tournament. Clubs from France, Italy and Netherlands also reached the winner's podium.

We are only days away from the start of the 2018 ECA Canoe Polo European Club Championships which will take place in Nottingham, Great Britain, this Saturday and Sunday. Twelve teams will participate in women’s part of the tournament and nineteen teams in men’s part. These teams are coming from eleven European nations.

Germany wins three Canoe Polo World Champion titles, Great Britain one

Canada, more precisely Welland, was the location of this year's Canoe Polo World Championships that attracted 68 teams from different continents which competed in women's and men's senior and U21 tournament. European teams did great, winning all the available medals but one. Germany celebrated World Champion titles in women’s and men’s senior event and in women’s U21 part of the tournament. In men’s U21 event Great Britain won the gold medal.
